“Sometimes serendipity is just intention unmasked.”
Elizabeth Berg, The Year of Pleasures

It has taken me a few years of traveling across this magnificent island to actually comprehend the word Serendipity.

The name stems from Serendip, an old name for Sri Lanka (aka Ceylon), from Arabic Sarandib, which was adopted from Tamil "Seren deevu" or originally from Sanskrit Suvarnadweepa or golden island (some trace the etymology to Simhaladvipa which literally translates to "Dwelling-Place-of-Lions Island"

For me every moment at Mangrove has been Serendipitous!!

I look forward to welcoming you to our “escape” – And hope you will keep it the best kept secret! Here, we believe, less is more !
